Today I purchased studio lighting. I am thrilled, it's a step closer to the goal. Setting up my studio , my first shoot will be Boudoir photography. I have my volunteer lined up and she is excited as well. I will let you know how things are coming along as the date nears. Bye for now, I just had to share the news. :))))))

What an amazing show.  I had seen it on TV before and thought "holly cow" what amazing pilots.  They are daredevils.  My husband and I spent the money and got tickets for seats in the race club,  our seats were right at the rail and I got the most amazing pictures.  I have one of a near miss that has a tad too much noise, but once I fix it, I will post it.  Incredibly the pilot did not crash but he made our hearts beat faster.  This was also my first day with my new Nikon D700, so I was also in awe of my camera :).  It was a fantastic day and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience something different.

The Badlands

This was my first trip to the Badlands.  Loved the colour of the hills and my husband and I got there just as a thunderstorm was coming.  The sky was ominous and made for fewer people climbing the hills.

Loved finding this flower on a recent walk.  A small orange flower in all the greenery.

OLIVER

This is my handsome boy Oliver.  He is one of my favourite subjects to photograph.  He is so curious and gets himself into some silly situations, which you will see when I start posting more pictures.  Oliver is an Exotic which is a cat breed (cross of Persian and Himalayan). They come in long and short hair varieties- obviously Oliver is long haired.  Love him bunches!!! Stay tuned to follow Oliver's antics.
